Ultrasound technology developer Alpinion Medical Systems is introducing its E-Cube 12R clinical research platform at this week's IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium in Chicago.
E-Cube 12R uses software beamforming technology and offers a frame rate of more than 9,000 frames per second, enabling acquisition of high-resolution raw (prebeamformed) radiofrequency (RF) data in real-time, according to the firm. The system can also generate arbitrary waveforms and includes a wide range of transmit/receive control parameters, Alpinion said.
