Norwegian simulation provider Laerdal Medical and ultrasound education firm SonoSim have signed an agreement to collaborate on distribution, product development, and research into training materials.
The partnership will provide an advanced learning environment for an integrated patient simulation experience, combined with advanced ultrasound learning content, according to Laerdal.
The main limitation to greater adoption of ultrasound has been the difficulty in training users, so the partnership will have an important impact worldwide, SonoSim said.
