Handheld-ultrasound technology developer Clarius Mobile Health has introduced a software interface designed to facilitate the use of its mobile ultrasound scanners for research applications.
Targeted at universities and companies performing medical research, the research interface provides raw ultrasound data for educational purposes, according to the company. The raw data can be accessed wirelessly.
In addition, Clarius said that researchers can also make use of its Clarius Cloud service for storing and organizing images, as well as for sharing them with a team. The vendor announced the research interface at the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium last week in Washington, DC.
