The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) has voted in Catherine Rienzo as president-elect, part of a new slate of board and committee members for 2019.
In addition, Mitzi Roberts will serve as treasurer; Bridgett Willey, PhD, will be secretary, the organization said. New directors include Stephanie Ellingson, Eric Kallstrom, and Aubrey Rybyinski. Meanwhile, Sara Baker, Kathryn Wampler, and Emily Smith will serve on the society's nominating committee; Nora Harer and Bryan Williams will join the SDMS finance committee.
The board members will be sworn in at the 2019 SDMS annual conference awards dinner, while the SDMS committee members will begin their service in October, according to the society.
