Butterfly Network and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) announced that they will collaborate on advancing the use of ultrasound in cardiology with Butterfly's iQ+ mobile device.
iQ+ is a single-probe, whole-body ultrasound system that connects to a mobile device and includes a telemedicine platform, Butterfly said. The company's collaboration with ACC will consist of a clinical trial that will use iQ+ for at-home ultrasound scanning to monitor the status of patients with heart failure.
Butterfly released iQ+ on October 7.
