GE Healthcare posted revenue increases for its third quarter and nine-month periods, growth it attributed to its imaging and ultrasound segments.
For the quarter (end-September 30), GE Healthcare's revenues were $4.6 billion, a 6% increase compared with 2021's $4.3 billion. Revenues for the nine-month period were $13.5 billion, up 3% from last year's $13.1 billion.
GE Healthcare also posted a net profit of $712 million, up 1% compared with 2021's $704 billion in its third quarter, while for the nine-month period, it posted a 14% net loss of $1.9 billion compared with $2.2 billion last year, it said.
GE and GE Aerospace are spinning off the healthcare division into a standalone company in January of next year.
