The arrival of full-field digital mammography (FFDM) has given breast imagers a plethora of new image management tools at their disposal. But could digital technologies cause problems when they don't play nicely together?

That seems to be the conclusion of a study published by Colorado researchers, who found major discrepancies in measurements of lesion size between different combinations of FFDM units and PACS image review software when viewing magnified images.
