Computer-aided detection developer R2 Technology has signed a sole-source agreement with group purchasing organization Novation, the supply company for healthcare alliances VHA and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC).
Under terms of the agreement, VHA and UHC members will be able to purchase R2's ImageChecker and CheckMate systems at substantial savings, according to R2 of Los Altos, CA. The three-year agreement is effective August 1, and provides for two one-year renewal options at the discretion of Irving, TX-based Novation.
