The Food and Drug Administration has released a draft of its modifications and additions to the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). Comments on this latest version must be submitted within 90 days of July 15 to the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH).
Some of the changes in the MQSA draft include sections on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and revisions to the rules regarding medical outcomes and records.
Written comments can be mailed to an address listed on the draft or submitted electronically through the FDA Web site.
