Image viewing software developer Client Outlook has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market its eUnity universal image viewer for diagnostic interpretation of mammography studies.
eUnity is a scalable zero-footprint enterprise image viewing platform for healthcare providers to access, manipulate, and collaborate on full diagnostic-quality medical images. The viewer was previously cleared by the FDA and other regulatory agencies for diagnostic use with other imaging modalities.
Healthcare providers can now use eUnity to diagnose mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis images from a single viewing platform, the company said.
