The American College of Radiology (ACR) has added a series of resources to MammographySavesLives.org in honor of its October National Breast Cancer Awareness Month public education campaign.
The resources include patient and provider education videos and informational brochures, the ACR said. The videos are downloadable and are available on the website, as well as the ACR's YouTube playlist. Also available is an infographic that explains the actual risks of callbacks and biopsies related to annual breast cancer screening, along with brochures in English and Spanish that describe how breast density can affect mammograms and breast cancer diagnosis, according to the college.
