iCAD plans to feature upgrades for its SecondLook workstations, along with new software and digitizer products.
The Nashua, NH-based firm will highlight SecondLook Digital, which has premarket approval from the FDA. It performs CAD on digital mammography images from GE Senographe D, GE Senographe DS, Hologic Selenia, Siemens Mammomat, and IMS Giotto. SecondLook Digital can process up to 30 cases per hour, according to iCAD.
In addition, iCAD will promote SecondLook 300 and SecondLook 200, also premarket-approved. Both devices can digitize small films in less than 23 seconds. SecondLook 300 is targeted to clinics with midvolume case loads, while SecondLook 200 is designed for smaller clinics.
Along with its SecondLook line of products, iCAD will feature an upgraded PowerLook application that brings various digital reading tools to SecondLook Viewer. They include window/level brightness control, minimum/maximum gray-level adjustment, digital zoom, pan, rule and grid overlay, and a touchscreen interface.
In October, iCAD introduced two new products: TotalLook and PureLook. TotalLook is a software and digitizer package for clients converting to digital mammography. It digitizes and delivers previous film mammograms to the same digital viewing station used to examine digital mammography images.
PureLook is a mammography film digitizer that serves as the film-to-digital acquisition module for the TotalLook and SecondLook product lines. PureLook provides an optical density range of zero to 4.4 and can capture image detail at 12 lp/mm.
