Advanced visualization and analysis software developer Claron Technology has received International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification in three categories for its quality management system.
Claron said it was awarded ISO 13485:2003 certification based on its ability to demonstrate consistent compliance with customer and regulatory requirements applicable to its medical devices and related services.
In addition, it also received specialized ISO 13485 (CMDCAS) certification requirements for the sale of its medical devices in Canada, and the firm showed compliance with ISO 14971:2007 by demonstrating an effective process for identifying, evaluating, and controlling any potential risks associated with product use throughout its lifecycle.
