Real Imaging names new CEO

Israeli breast imaging developer Real Imaging has appointed Maiki Yoeli as its new CEO.

The Lod-headquartered company has developed Ruth, a functional 3D infrared breast imaging system designed for early detection of breast cancer. The system has completed its fourth multicenter clinical trial, showing sensitivity above 90% for noninvasive detection of breast tumors, the company reported.

Yoeli previously served as president and CEO of CAD/CAM developer Cimatron of Givat Shmuel, Israel, and was a vice president of the Israel Export Institute. He succeeds Boaz Arnon, one of Real Imaging's co-founders, who remains a member of the board of directors and is chief technology officer.
