Medical imaging software developer MIM Software has released version 5.6 of its MIM software.
The new software will allow MIM's Maestro and MIMpacs users to access tools for image-guided adaptive radiation therapy (IGART), deformable quality assurance (QA), biological dose evaluation, oncology information system (OIS) interoperability, and research extendibility, according to MIM.
The package now includes Reg Reveal for deformable QA and reporting; an updated ART Assist tool for dose-guided adaptive radiation therapy; MIM's new biological effective dose (BED) and tumor control probability (TCP) modeling for multimodality dose accumulation and comparison; enhanced OIS interoperability; and MIM Extensions to allow users to plug in their own algorithms, the company said.
