Visage debuts new software releases

Advanced visualization and PACS firm Visage Imaging has released new versions of its Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform and Visage Ease mobile application.

Version 7.1.4 of Visage 7 adds enhanced integration and enterprise scale with third-party workflow applications, according to the vendor. For example, the platform now supports bidirectional context management when interacting with third-party worklist and RIS software, and it can automatically send notifications to third-party systems when a user opens an additional study for display in the Visage 7 client.

Also new is support for token-based image access via encrypted links embedded in radiology reports, Visage said.

The company has also incorporated new features for its Visage Ease iOS mobile application. Ease 1.4.2 now includes gesture-based refresh of queries, DICOM window/level presets, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)/Active Directory authentication, and voice memo attachments, according to the company.
