PACS firm Sectra has signed a partnership agreement with Touch of Life Technologies (ToLTech).
Under terms of the agreement, ToLTech will become a distributor in the U.S. and Canada of Sectra's medical education tools, including its visualization table, which includes a large, multitouch screen that provides 3D views of patient anatomy rendered from CT or MR images.
ToLTech will integrate its VH Dissector anatomical education platform and models into the table, allowing users to complement the Sectra educational cases, visualized on radiology images, with ToLTech's 3D and cross-sectional visualizations, according to Sectra.
Sectra also announced that it plans to present a new version of its table at the upcoming International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) in San Francisco.
