Advanced visualization firm Vital Images has debuted VioStream, a software application that is designed to facilitate access to a patient's full imaging history.
An enhancement to the firm's VitreaView enterprise viewer offering, VioStream is a server-side software package that enables a Web-based image viewer to connect to a variety of existing DICOM archives, convert DICOM data to Web-friendly formats, and view the first image much faster, according to Vital.
