Qmetrics Technologies is teaming up with Singapore-based 3D printing firm Medairum to create models from imaging data.
Medairum will send imaging studies to Qmetrics, which will convert datasets to 3D files of selected anatomy through its proprietary 3D segmentation and modeling software. From those files, Medairum will create 3D-printed models of the anatomy to improve patient care and outcomes.
Surgeons can use the models to support their clinical decisions and better communicate with patients, Qmetrics said.
