Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon and the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics have launched the firm's 3D Print Pack Portal within the University of Utah Health system.
The launch extends 3D printing access to physicians throughout the university's health system. The portal is an extension of TeraRecon's iNtuition advanced visualization software, and users can now segment imaging studies and export for printing directly from iNtuition, without the need for any third-party segmentation tools or diminished file type conversions. Prints maintain full color and image detail. Segmentations are uploaded to the portal and exchanged for Print Pack Credits that are purchased on a subscription or bulk basis. From there, studies are ready for outsourced printing by WhiteClouds, a 3D printing provider.
