Advanced visualization software firm Imaging Biometrics (IB) and the Mayo Clinic have partnered to create IB Trax, a platform to track brain lesions over time.
In the collaboration, the partners intend to develop an automated workflow to identify, quantify, and report lesion volume changes in metastatic and primary brain tumors. The partners will utilize quantitative technologies from IB and direct clinical input from the Mayo Clinic.
The partnership builds upon the two organizations' long-standing relationship, according to IB. Notably, Dr. Leland Hu, a radiologist at the Mayo Clinic campus in Phoenix, AZ, also serves on the IB scientific advisory board.
