Advanced visualization software provider Vital Images reported record revenue of $15.3 million in its fiscal 2005 fourth quarter, up 38% compared with the $11.1 million turned in for the fourth quarter of 2005.
For the period (end-December 31), the Minneapolis-based firm had net income of $2.4 million, demonstrating vigorous growth when compared with net income of $900,000 for the same period last year.
For the 2005 fiscal year, Vital Images booked record revenues of $51.7 million, a powerful 43% increase over the $36.1 million in revenues for fiscal 2004. The company reported a net income of $5.8 million for the period, a robust increase compared with the $296,000 of net income reported for 2004.
For fiscal 2006, the company said it expects revenue in a range of $68 million to $71 million, or 31% to 37% growth over its 2005 numbers.
