Siemens Medical Solutions is introducing syngo CardioFusion at this week's American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Atlanta.
CardioFusion allows for visualization of cardiac images from hybrid imaging technologies, according to the Malvern, PA-based firm. It includes One-Click Heart Isolation, which allows users to isolate the heart from surrounding tissue, Siemens said. Other features include automatic registration between datasets, as well as Advanced Visualization/Fused VRT(2), which fuses volume rendering techniques of two imaging modalities.
CardioFusion includes a reorientation capability for manipulating images in a manner conforming to American Heart Association (AHA) display guidelines, Siemens said. A reslicing feature simplifies generation of parallel ranges along the cardiac image planes, according to the vendor.
In other Siemens' ACC news, the firm is debuting Soarian Cardiovascular Enterprise, a cardiac IT package. Soarian Cardiovascular Enterprise integrates diagnostic image acquisition, image processing, and evidence-based reporting tools from syngo Dynamics with the vendor's Soarian Cardiology system, Siemens said.
