Dutch software developer Medis Medical Imaging Systems will demonstrate its line of software for CT angiography quantification at McCormick Place later this month.
QAngio CT includes features such as calculation of stenosis degree, stenosis length, and a range of vessel segment data; manual or automatic determination of stenosis and reference segments; 3D reconstructions including multiplanar reformats (MPRs), curved MPRs, and other 3D views; and export of analysis results as a PDF, DICOM structured report (SR) and DICOM screen capture (SC). PACS connectivity is also supported.
The software runs on the Windows XP platform, and will be available in the U.S. and internationally in the fourth quarter of 2006.
QAngio XA is a single software solution that incorporates three former Medis software applications and their modules: QCA-CMS, for the quantification of coronary angiograms; QVA-CMS, for the quantification of vascular angiograms; and QLV-CMS, for the quantification of left ventricular x-ray angiography studies.
Features include calculation of stenosis diameter percentage, obstruction and reference diameters, and segment lengths; automated contour detection for complex lesions, bifurcations, and stented segments; multiple-window views for simultaneous reviewing of image runs; and export of analysis results as XML, a DICOM SR, and a DICOM SC.
QAngio XA runs on the Windows 2000 and XP operating systems, and is available in the U.S. and internationally.
