ECI launches cardio CTA service

Teleradiology services provider Emergency Cardiac Imaging of Somers Point, NJ, has launched its service to provide teleradiology-based postprocessing and interpretation of cardiovascular CT and triple rule-out exams.

Triple rule-out exams help clinicians use a single CT scan to rule out (or in) the three most life-threatening critical conditions in chest pain -- aortic dissection, pulmonary embolism, and coronary artery disease, the company said. ECI radiologists have been performing cardiovascular CT angiography (CTA) since 2001, and have interpreted more than 8,000 cases.

ECI will offer interpretations on a 24/7/365 basis.
