Advanced visualization software developer Ziosoft has released a software upgrade for its Ziostation system.
Version 2.0 features workflow and clinical enhancements, including improved colon and vessel analysis with customizable protocols, according to the Redwood City, CA-based vendor. It also features automated preprocessing based on user preferences.
Unlimited protocols can be configured for any case type to optimize the workflow and user interface for a specific protocol, Ziosoft said. In addition, configurable "wizards" can simplify processing by offering prompts to assist a user through a case, according to the firm.
For specific markets outside of the U.S., Ziosoft has also incorporated integration with Medicsight computer-aided detection (CAD) technology for the colon, as well as SPECT/CT cardiac fusion analysis, MR cardiac time/intensity and delayed signal intensity, and MR brain time/intensity capability.
