Matakina International has named David Mezzoprete as vice president of sales for North America.
He will be responsible for sales strategy for the U.S. and Canada for Matakina, which has developed the Volpara volumetric breast density assessment software.
Mezzoprete most recently served as vice president of channel sales for Carestream Health, where he was responsible for digital imaging equipment and x-ray film in the U.S., Matakina said. Prior to joining Carestream, he held sales positions with Fujifilm Medical Systems USA and R2 Technology.
