Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon is highlighting some innovations of its iNtuition and iNteract+ line and major implementations at RSNA 2014.
The latest version 4.4.12 of iNtuition and iNteract+ features the following:
- Universal viewing and image sharing for electronic medical record image-enablement and beyond
- Deconstructed PACS for future-proof PACS replacement or PACS-on-PACS
- Advanced visualization for extending decision support tools
The firm also announced implementations of its advanced visualization systems at Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia and Allegheny Health Network in Pennsylvania. At Piedmont, TeraRecon implemented an enterprise advanced visualization system across its five hospitals and deployed the zero-footprint viewer to image-enable its Epic electronic medical record system. In addition to its hospitals, Piedmont has nearly 100 physician and specialist offices across the greater Atlanta area and north Georgia.
Allegheny Health Network is replacing its PACS, and using TeraRecon's iNtuition and iNteract+ enabled the network to pursue deconstructed PACS with less risk, according to the company. The network serves the western Pennsylvania region and comprises eight hospitals and a healthcare group purchasing organization, and it also serves as a clinical campus for both Temple University School of Medicine and Drexel University College of Medicine.
