The new version of the company's HeartFlow Analysis FFR-CT software includes major advancements in the processes and algorithms used to calculate FFR-CT values. The application has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
New enhancements to the software include the following:
- Advanced algorithms and faster case processing that enable HeartFlow Analysis to get results to clinicians more quickly
- A cloud-based infrastructure that uses the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, which ensures more secure, robust, and scalable delivery of HeartFlow results
- Heightened security measures
HeartFlow Analysis provides noninvasive measures of the extent of coronary artery disease. The first version of the software was cleared by the FDA in 2014.
