Artificial intelligence (AI) medical imaging firm Oxipit plans to highlight upgrades to its quality assurance software for musculoskeletal x-ray, mammography, and lung CT scans.
The upgraded suite, called Quality, can be used as a "second reader" for quality assurance, according to the company. It analyzes radiologist reports and corresponding images, and if it identifies an unreported clinically significant finding it notifies the reporting radiologist.
The software was formerly offered for chest x-rays only, Oxipit said.
