Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer R2 Technology has extended its sole-source contract with FirstChoice Cooperative of Texas, a member-owned purchasing cooperative.
The agreement extends through 2008 a previous three-year sole agreement designating R2 as the provider of CAD systems to FirstChoice member hospitals and care facilities. The cooperative serves more than 160 hospitals and imaging centers in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, Mississippi, and Arkansas, according to Sunnyvale, CA-based R2.
