Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Riverain Medical has won a contract from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for its SoftView chest imaging technology.
The contract streamlines the process for the VA and other authorized federal agencies to purchase the SoftView software. SoftView increases the clarity of chest x-rays by suppressing bone to improve visualization of the lung and detection of lung nodules, according to Riverain of Miamisburg, OH.
