A decline in licensing fees contributed to lower revenues for computer-aided detection (CAD) firm Medipattern in its 2011 fiscal year (end-June 30).
Revenue decreased 49% to $156,000, compared with $305,000 in fiscal year 2010. The net loss for the 2011 fiscal year was $2.4 million, compared with a net loss of $2.6 million in the previous fiscal year.
Licensing fees slipped to $53,000 in fiscal 2011, compared with $273,000 in fiscal 2010. The 81% decrease reflected 2010's $250,000 one-time software technology licensing contract for B-CADmri, Medipattern said.
