Konica Minolta Healthcare and Apollo Enterprise Imaging are collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the cloud-based integration of Konica’s Exa Platform and Apollo's Repository for Clinical Content (arcc).
Konica’s Exa Platform is an integrated PACS, RIS, and billing platform with a single database across all modules. Apollo’s arcc is an enterprise system that stores and manages imaging from 45 specialty departments and integrates with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Integrating the technologies on AWS’ cloud-based HealthImaging (AHI) data management system allows the companies to focus on delivering production workflow software and clinical functionality for imaging customers, with AHI managing the infrastructure, Konica said.
