GE HealthCare (GEHC) will unveil its new suite of cloud-based enterprise imaging software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2025 conference in Las Vegas, March 4 to 6.
The new Genesis portfolio includes features designed to enable healthcare providers to more easily store, access, and manage large volumes of medical images from anywhere, while maintaining security standards, improving the coordination of patient care, and reducing operating costs, the company said.
When commercially released, the portfolio will allow for both cloud and hybrid solutions with a highly secure bidirectional pathway and features a fully managed vendor-neutral archive and cloud-based storage SaaS. In addition, Genesis will include large-scale AI-enabled data migrations through a collaboration with Enlitic, ensuring efficient transitions to the cloud.
GEHC also noted that the Genesis suite has been designed to ensure high levels of security for sensitive healthcare data. It is the company's latest offering toward its goal to more than triple its cloud-enabled products by 2028.
Genesis will be deployed on Amazon Web Services, GEHC’s long-standing cloud provider.
