Atlanta-based Precision Software will display and demonstrate its suite of scheduling, bidding, and task-tracking applications for radiology department personnel.
Precision Scheduler+ allows up to six tasks per day per staff member so work assignments, calls, conferences, and meetings can all be input into one database. A TaskTrac module allows the user to make changes to the schedule without modifying the master statistics.
Members can receive credit for time they were originally scheduled for versus what they actually worked. In addition, tasks and rules can be quickly changed by the user to follow the guidelines of the group, Precision said. Comprehensive reporting capabilities are also available that track weekly, monthly, and yearly statistics.
Periodic updates and enhancements of the Precision Scheduler+ are provided free of software charges, the company said. New group members can also be added without incurring additional costs.
A WebSchedule application interfaces with the Precision Scheduler+ and allows users the ability to swap, buy, sell, or trade tasks with each other online and offsite, pending administrative approval. The WebSchedule downloads a schedule file ready to be transferred into a personal digital assistant (PDA) as well as Microsoft Outlook, according to the developer.
The Bidmaster allows round-by-round bidding for holidays, vacations, no call, and off-duty tasks while simultaneously considering department and weekly limitations of a radiology group. A specific number of bids granted to each physician are permitted within a specifically designated time period.
The Bidmaster resolves conflicts using various tie-breaker systems. The process of bidding continues until all the bids have been equitably satisfied for all physicians, the company said.
