Canadian radiology informatics developer RamSoft this week launched its Gateway DICOM workstation software and PowerServer Tele software suite at the 2005 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The Toronto-based company said the Gateway software operates on the Microsoft Windows XP platform, and prefetches from DICOM archives and automatically routes to destinations across the network. It also connects to all modalities, printers, workstations, and servers.
Ramsoft's PowerServer Tele software suite for teleradiology applications is designed to provide a set of Web-based tools to improve productivity, streamline workflow, and reduce operating costs, according to the firm. Capabilities include interpretation software, document management, dictation, and transcription.
