Optio signs Alaska center

Healthcare informatics software developer Optio Software has added Alaska Open Imaging Center (AOIC) to its client list.

AOIC has ordered the Alpharetta, GA-based vendor's QuickRecord and MedEx Suites. QuickRecord will integrate with AOIC's PACS network to capture, store, and route radiology orders and scans throughout Alaska, while QuickRecord will provide a universal hub and Web-enabled access point for all current and historic patient documents, Optio said.
