Agfa HealthCare will be installing its Orbis integrated IT network at three pilot sites in Belgium.
The three hospitals (Imelda, Bonheiden; Bois de l'Abbaye, Seraing; and AZ Groeninge, Kortrijk) will be the first to install Orbis in Belgium, Agfa said. The pilot phase is scheduled to begin at the end of 2006, with commercial deployment of Orbis targeted for 2007, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor.
