Cerner lands Australia's Victoria state

Healthcare information systems provider Cerner of Kansas City, MO, has been selected by the Australian state of Victoria as its statewide clinical information systems provider.

The agreement is a part of Victorian Department of Human Services' (DHS) HealthSmart program, and it will bring Cerner's Millennium products into the hospitals that serve the state's 5 million residents, the company said.
