Imaging software firm AccuSoft has released a new version of its ImageGear software based on Microsoft's .NET platform.
The new release allows for programmers to develop ASP .NET-based imaging applications, according to the Northborough, MA-based company. ImageGear for .NET also features a set of annotation marks, including text, line, freehand polyline, rectangle, ellipse, polygon, polyline, audio, image, ruler, protractor, encryption, button, hot spot, and rich text, AccuSoft said.
These marks can now be imported and exported to XML files, AccuSoft said. Other enhancements include enhanced PDF support, layer editing, and editing of elements such as text, image, and metadata.
