Healthcare informatics developer Allscripts announced a new agreement with Washington University Physicians, the physician group practice of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, to provide its TouchWorks electronic healthcare record (EHR) application.
The practice has more than 900 physicians in over 50 specialties, and provides services at more than 35 clinical sites throughout the greater St. Louis area, according to the Chicago-based firm.
Allscripts said that Washington University will integrate TouchWorks with its existing Centricity Business (formerly IDX Systems Flowcast) revenue cycle management system from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
