The American College of Physicians (ACP) has aligned with Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) as an affiliate sponsor of the IHE Patient Care Coordination Domain (PCC).
The establishment of the new collaboration will help ongoing efforts to advance the integration of healthcare information technology systems and support interoperable electronic health records (EHRs), according to the Chicago-based IHE. The ACP represents more than 119,000 internal medicine physicians and medical students.
