Empiric teams up with NMP

Healthcare informatics vendor Empiric Systems of Morrisville, NC, has formed a partnership with network services provider Network Management Partners (NMP).

Raleigh, NC-based NMP designs, installs, and maintains local and wide area networks, and also provides data center support. The company monitors performance metrics on Empiric application servers, as well as monitors and provides alerts on software processes and services for the company’s Encompass.Net offering.

NMP also offers managed offsite backup services, with prices starting at less than a dollar per gigabyte of data, Empiric said.
