PatientKeeper raises $8 million

Mobile medical information software developer PatientKeeper said it has raised $8 million in its latest round of funding.

The money, procured by a syndicate of healthcare venture capital organizations, will be used to fund new product development and expand operations, according to the Brighton, MA-based firm.
