First Consulting Group (FCG) has named information technology veteran Larry Ferguson as the company's CEO.
Ferguson has more than 25 years of experience in IT, according to the Long Beach, CA, company. He spent the majority of his career as president of First Data Health Systems, and its predecessor companies, according to FCG. He has also held sales and senior management positions with Xerox, Baxter International, and American Express.
FCG president Steven Heck, who had been serving as interim CEO, will report to Ferguson.
