Healthcare informatics developer Misys Healthcare Systems said its Payerpath electronic connectivity business unit has entered into partnership with RxHub of St. Paul, MN.
RxHub is a provider of network connectivity services in the prescribing industry for the exchange of patient-specific information among physicians, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), payors, and pharmacies.
The alliance will provide additional data and online transaction capabilities to Misys' electronic medical record (EMR) application, which will be available with the next iteration of the product, Misys EMR 8.1, this fall, the Raleigh, NC-based Misys said.
