The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM, formerly SCAR) will support original research in imaging informatics with two $40,000 grants for 2007.
The SIIM research grants are restricted to residents, fellows, graduate students, or junior faculty in departments of diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, or nuclear medicine, according to the Great Falls, VA-based SIIM.
The deadline for applications for the 2007 grants is August 1, 2006. Additional information about the grant process and an application form are available on the society's Web site.
