Healthcare information technology provider Hx Technologies (HxTI) reported that it has completed a technology upgrade to the backbone of the Philadelphia Health Information Exchange, a regional healthcare information organization (RHIO).
The Philadelphia-based firm has installed version 3.0 of its iHistory product, a managed IT-based service that links disparate hospitals, imaging centers, and physicians via a proprietary network appliance at each imaging provider's facility.
