The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has added several new members to its management team.
Elizabeth West was selected as the vice president of marketing and business development. West is responsible for developing and implementing the society's marketing, corporate membership, and sales strategies, according to the Chicago-based organization.
In addition to filling the vice president position, HIMSS has also chosen a clutch of new directors. Didi Davis was named as the director for the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) project; Mary Griskewicz was tapped as the director of ambulatory health information systems; JoAnn Klinedinst was appointed as the director of healthcare information systems; and Pam Matthews joined the organization as director of business information systems.
